I was really happy to see that the “Happy Fall y’all” sentiment was included in the Banner Year stamp set and paired with the Celebration Tidings Bundle it made for a perfect Texas Fall card. I’ve seen many decorative signs with this sentiment so I thought it would be perfect for my fall cards.
I used one of the “leafy” Meadow Moments Embossing Folders to add some texture on the Rich Razzleberry card layer. You can see it in the following close-up picture. I had to adjust the exposure on the close-up so the embossing could be captured in the photo. Rich Razzleberry is a beautiful dark and rich color. But, in real life the embossing is beautiful and easy to see.
The images in the Celebration Tidings stamp set are small enough and easy to color quickly. I used my Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils to color the fun pumpkins and foliage images. It was quick and fun and oh so pretty. The Braided Linen ribbon adds to the rustic feel of this warm fall card. It was also easy to just pull at the ribbon edges to fray the ends.
I let the colors in the Plaid Tiding Designer Series Paper decide my color choice pairings. Honestly, I don’t think I would have selected Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry to “work” together but, they do! Can you tell, I love the Plaid Tidings Designer Series? I find myself reaching for it. It’s perfect for all types of cards. Just a reminder this is one of the Designer Series Papers that is on sale for a limited time. The Designer Series Paper sale ends on Oct 31!
