Isn’t this the cutest giraffe? Well, except for the knot in his neck. It’s a great card to send to someone who might be struggling with something; it’ll help put a smile on their face. You’ll find the card measurements and the supplies I used below.
- Thick Whisper White Cardstock – 11″ X 4 1/4″ scored and folded at 5 1/2″
- Bumble Bee Cardstock – 4″ X 3 1/2″
- DSP (Cinnamon Cider wood grain piece) – 3 3/4″ X 2 3/4″
- Cinnamon Cider Cardstock – 3 7/8″ X 3 1/4″
- Whisper White Cardstock – 2 1/2″ X 3 5/8″ (to stamp the giraffe & sentiment)
I like that 2020-2022 In-Colors work well together. I like how Bumble Bee and Cinnamon Cider coordinate and made it easy to coordinate with the coloring of the giraffe. You can color the giraffe with your Stampin’ Write Markers or your Stampin’ Up! Blends. Blends are alcohol markers and if you’re using those to color remember to use your Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad to prevent the inks from bleeding. I would’ve preferred to use a Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blend to color the spots on the giraffe but they’re not in my studio yet and I couldn’t wait so I used my Soft Suede Stampin’ Blend Markers instead.
