Hello friends,

Can you believe it’s almost time for back to school be it virtually, distance learning or within the school building we all have reason to celebrate teachers. Today’s card also features a chalkboard technique just by using the Craft White pigment ink pad. You can watch the unedited  YouTube video I created to learn how to DIY.

Harvest Hellos Chalkboard Technique Card

Harvest Hellos stamp set

By the way, I know you’d be hard pressed to find a chalkboard or blackboard in today’s schools.  Another sign of the times.  (Insert a deep sigh here.) BUT, schools have wonderful technical tools to assist all learners.

Here’s a short (15 minute) video showing how to DIY!  I was nervous and horrified at how often I said “very, very” in the video.  That is one of my pet peeves – the use of “very.”  Unfortunately, I did not edit the video and due to time constraints I didn’t re-shoot it.  I promise I’ll do better next time.

Card measurements:

Are you still with me?  Thanks for stopping by today.  I’m going to assume that you’re a crafter and probably a cardmaker if you’re reading my blog.  Let me just share that making videos is not an easy task, at least not for me.  Oh, there are many on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram who make it look easy.  It.Is.Not.  BUT, I know that I will improve and it will get easier.  So, thanks for your patience and your loyalty.

Inky hugs,
