Hello Crafty friends,
I hope all of you are doing well. It’s been extremely hot in the Texas Panhandle the last few days so instead of creating a bright, hot colorful card I reached for a “cool” color. I rarely use Soft Seafoam cardstock but I thought it was a good base for some pretty greenery. The Forever Fern stamp set and Flourishing Dies are a perfect bundle to create cards for many occasions. The stamp set includes several inspiring sentiments. I love making cards for no particular reason other than to brighten someone’s day or to cheer them on.
The Soft Seafoam cardstock is a light green and I used it so it wouldn’t compete with the different darker shades of Garden Green ink and cardstock and Pear Pizzazz. The Greenery Embossing Folders (2 to a package) add additional texture.
Here are the card dimensions:
- Soft Seafoam cardstock – 11″ X 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″
- Soft Seafoam cardstock (embossed layer) – 3 1/4″ X 5 1/2″
- Whisper White cardstock scraps to stamp the leaves and berry(?) stems
- Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz scrap pieces of cardstock to die cut greenery
