I can’t seem to stop using the Jar of Flowers stamp set and paper punch bundle, it’s just so fun and easy to use. Here’s a twist, I didn’t stamp the jar to make the bouquet. And here’s a secret, the stems and bouquet of tulips don’t align perfectly but you can disguise the not so perfect alignment with a ribbon bow made from one of ribbons in the Flowers for Every Season Combo pack.
I layered a piece of Whisper White cardstock that I embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder onto my Thick Whisper White card base. I then stamped the stems and tulips bouquet with Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad. Next, I used a Stitched Rectangle to die cut the stamped floral bouquet and used the same sized Stitched Rectangle die to cut another rectangle out of Daffodil Delight cardstock and then just off set the rectangles on the cardbase.
- I used the Stampin Up! Blends, which are alcohol markers to color in my stamped images, but you can easily color the images with Stampin Markers, colored pencils, watercolor pencils or use a Blender Pen with your ink pads to add color.
- Using your ink pads to color in details is fun and easy. All you need to do is dab your ink pad onto a non-porous surface such as an acrylic stamping block, a glass mat, a laminated folder or even a dinner plate to make a temporary palette. Then take a Blender Pen and pick up the color from your makeshift palette and color your image. Just make sure you “clean” your Blender Pen between different colors by rubbing it on scratch paper. The Stampin’ Up! Blender pens are dual ended so you have 2 blending tips on each blender pen and there are 3 Blender Pens to a package.
