Happy July 3rd!
Today’s card uses the Heartfelt Bundle which is most often used to make Valentine’s Day, but hearts are good for any occasion in my book. Besides, I didn’t purchase this bundle in time to use it to make Valentine’s Day cards back in February. Here’s today’s Not-a-Valentine-Heart card: I share 2 versions of the same card layout.
The card is a CASE found on page 168 in the new Annual Catalog. (I’ve circled it below, just before the Shopping List.) I believe the project in the catalog is a journal cover. I decided to take the same design to make a card instead. I believe using Just Jade cardstock and ink helped to make it not so “Valentine’sy.” (Yep, just made up that word.) I love the wide band of designer series paper across the front of the card. It’s another quick and simple card. I used another 2020-2022 In-Color, Bumble Bee to stamp the arrow on a strip of Whisper White Cardstock to layer underneath the Poppy Parade ink stamped sentiment.
This was my first version of the card, but I realized that it was almost a CASE from one of my other cards I posted on June 18th, you can see it here. I guess I like this particular card design. Just goes to show you that you can use different pretty patterned papers and embossing folders and create something different. Personally, I prefer the card I made with the scalloped die.
Here are the items to make this card, just click on any of the pictures on my Shopping List or on my signature at the end of this post and you’ll be redirected to my 24/7 Online Store.
Please use the Host Code: F6EGXKJH when placing your order and I’ll send you a surprise in your hand stamped thank you card. Remember you also earn Loyalty Rewards Points when your order is a minimum $50*. Make sure you click on the link to read about MY LOYALTY REWARDS PROGRAM 2019-20.
*before sales tax/shipping. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer I hold in June.
IMPORTANT! If your order is over $150*, please don’t use the Host Code because your order qualifies for Stampin’ Rewards, but you will receive the surprise gift AND earn Loyalty Rewards Points from me as well.
I can’t wait to send these cards off. Make sure you read my blog Tuesday, I’ll have a free tutorial for a slim-line card. Have you noticed slim line cards are on trend in the card making community? They’re fun and certainly different.
Stay safe and have a Happy 4th of July!
