Happy May!

I used some soon to be retired products for today’s Bird Balland Thank You card.  The Laser-Cut Cards are just that, they have an intricately cut design on the front of the card.  I just used a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock on the back of the front of the card to showcase the laser-cut design. You can back it with any color of your choice. The possibilities are endless.

Laser-Cut Cards and Tin – 12 cards with envelopes

I stamped the bird and leaves and a blossom on Whisper White cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink to color in the images with the Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Markers then fussy cut the leaves and flower and adhered them towards the bottom of the bird. I then added a leaf trinket with  Mossy Meadow twine. Those adorable little Bird Ballad trinkets are on the retired list too – get them before they’re gone.  The Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards and envelopes(12 cards & 12 envelopes) come in a a beautiful metal tin and they are on sale!  Remember, all items on the retired list are while supplies last.

How are you holding up while you’re doing the Shelter-In-Place  (SIP) or as I prefer to think of it – Stamps, Ink & Paper? Just trying to keep a positive spin on things.  The internet has been bogged down in my neighborhood which made it impossible for me to add a card to my blog post. It’s no surprise that our internet speed and service has been over taxed due to most people in our neighborhood are working from home and more school children are online during the day.

I’m enjoying the “extra” time to create but I do miss my friends and family.  PLUS, I’m so looking forward to the new Stampin’ Up! catalog!  More fun things to look forward to.  Have a wonderful week-end and take time for self-care.

Inky hugs,
