I have 2 cards to share with you today and a free card making tutorial. You’ll find my tutorial at the end of my blog post. The 2018-2020 In-Colors will retire soon, in fact Stampin’ Up! will release the Retiring List with all products retiring on April 24. Make sure you read that day’s DIY Stamping Fun Newsletter to see what’s on the list. You’ll want to make sure you snag any items still on your Wish List because these are while supplies last.
Blueberry Bushel and Grapefruit Grove are 2 of the 5 In-Colors to retire, you can see all of the retiring colors in my Shopping List. These cards were fun to make and really easy to put together to create a stack of cards in record time. If you’ve attended a class or placed an order within the last year I will send you a FREE card kit to create one of these cards. So what your mailbox, who doesn’t like happy mail?
I followed my upline’s card sketch and used last year’s 2018-2020 In-Color Designer Series Paper package, the patterns are different this year but the colors are the same. Here’s the sketch so you can try making some happy cards. Don’t forget to mail them out. Your friends and family would LOVE to get one of these. “I guarantee it!” (Who said that?)
I used the Medium Daisy Punch to punch out 2 flowers to make 1 daisy, but you could also stamp the daisy for added detail or just use the punch. I also used a 1/2″ circle punch to make the daisy centers in Pineapple Punch, (another retiring In-Color) BUT you can use a 1″ punch or sequins, a button or one of the Perennial Essence Floral Center embellishments, or a Faceted Gem. See pages 176-178 in the Annual Catalog for all the many creative possibilities. The new early release stamp set called Ornate Thanks comes with many sentiments. I used one of them one and embossed it in white embossing powder on the Blueberry Bushel card and the Smile sentiment on the Grapefruit Grove card is from the Daisy Lane stamp set. Don’t forget to grab the card tutorial just above my signature!
Here are the 2018-2020 In-Color items to retire soon. If you would like to order any of these, just click on any of the pictures on my Shopping List or on my signature at the end of this post and you’ll be redirected to my 24/7 Online Store.

I’m going to miss the 2018-2020 In-Colors, especially Lovely Lipstick! It’s definitely a favorite and I intend to stock up on that cardstock and my ink pad refill before they sell out. I hope you have a happy week and you make time to make some happy cards to mail. I appreciate you reading my blog and pray that you remain healthy and strong.
