Happy St Patrick’s Day! I almost called today’s post, “How to make a shamrock if you don’t have St Patrick’s Day stamps” but that was too long. I managed to make a St Patrick’s Day with some of the crafty supplies I had in my craft stash.
I made the shamrock with the Leaf Punch and one of the heart dies from the Stitched Be Mine Dies. Here’s a pictorial DIY!
Step 1 – Punch out one leaf and die cut 3 hearts.
Step 2 – Glue the hearts onto the leaf
I also inked up the inside of the Lace 3D Embossing Folder with the Call Me Clover ink pad to highlight the lace before I ran it through my Big Shot. The reason I used this particular embossing folder is because I wanted to emulate Irish Lace, not that I know what Irish Lace looks like. Here’s a close up of the gold foil (excuse my inky fingers.)
- Call Me Clover cardstock – 4 1/4″ X 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
- Whisper White cardstock – 5 1/4″ X 4″
- Gold Foil cardstock – 2 1/4″ X 2 1/4″
