What if you need to make Valentine’s Day cards for children and you don’t have any “kid” stamps? I found myself in that predicament until I remembered the cute dinosaur images on the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper (DSP.) It’s easy to fussy cut the cute large dinosaurs or use your electronic cutting machine to cut the images out and BAM, easy Valentine’s Day Card for children.
I used the Meant to Be stamp set and the coordinating Stitched Be Mine dies to cut out the stitched scallop and the hearts.
Here are the measurements for today’s card:
- Bermuda Bay card stock – 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
- From My Heart Designer Series Paper (item # 151189)- 1 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ (oops, forgot to add it to my Shopping List below)
- Whisper White Cardstock – scrap pieces to die cut the large heart
NOTES: I used some scrap pieces of Real Red Glimmer (glitter) paper to cut out the small hearts BUT if you have the Sparkle Glimmer Paper you can easily color it to any color with a Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Marker. If you choose to color it yourself I suggest you use the bullet end of the marker.

Thanks for joining me today. It wasn’t until I posted this card on my blog that I realized that the beautiful red glitter paper (Stampin Up! calls this Glimmer Paper) that it’s a retired product and no longer available for purchase, but refer back to my Notes for a quick tip for a DIY solution to make any color of glitter paper by using your markers.
Have a wonderful day!
