Happy Monday friends,

I normally don’t share the cards we make in my Beautiful Greeting Cards Classes which I hold every 3rd Saturday of the Month in my home studio, but I promised my class attendees that I would write up the tutorial with the cutting dimensions for this card. This is a Fun Fold Card which appears complicated but it really isn’t.  It’s simple and you can easily change up the designer series paper, inks and stamped images for any occasion. Keep reading and see more examples.

The Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) is gorgeous.  It’s called a Specialty DSP because it has copper foil accents throughout the paper.  Foil paper and glitter are hard to photograph and I’ve used both on this card.  The Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP is part of the Brightly Gleaming Suite on pages 30-32 in the Holiday 2019 catalog which is a Christmas theme but it can be used for any occasion.  Here’s how I used it to make a birthday card. That cake pedestal is punched out of the Stampin’ Up! Copper Foil cardstock.  (It photographed as black!) Trust me, it’s a beautiful shiny copper.

Here’s another card using the Wrapped in Plaid DSP #149596 using the same Fun Fold card design and dimensions.  I’ve provided a free PDF tutorial below the Shopping List.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you try making this card.  When I first saw it I thought it would be complicated to make but it’s actually very easy.

Have you started your Thanksgiving preparations?  I must admit that I have not except for the grocery shopping BUT we did set up our small Christmas tree in our living room.  I promised I wouldn’t fast forward to Christmas but I wanted to have it up for Saturday’s card class. Anyway, that’s my story.  Have a wonderful Monday!

Inky hugs,
