I thought I’d share a smiling pumpkin (jack-o-lantern) card with you today. It’s so easy and uses a minimum of supplies. In fact the pumpkin, pumpkin stem, leaves and even the small strip of Highland Heather gingham Designer Series Papers are all cut from scraps of cardstock. Here’s today’s easy card to make.
So, would you classify this as a Halloween card or not? The sentiment is from the Harvest Hellos Bundle, but I used the “you make me smile” sentiment, afterall, the pumpkin is smiling. Whatever the reason or the occasion I think the bright colors (I adore Granny Apple Green paired with Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather) would bring a smile to the card recipient.
I used the Subtle Embossing Folder to emboss the Granny Apple Green cardstock, but you don’t have to use it. The Subtle Embossing Folder just gives it texture and interest to the card layer. I think it’s pretty easy to figure out how to make this card, but if you’d like the exact measurements, please leave me a comment and I’ll be glad to share them with you.
Here’s what I used to make this card. If you need any of the supplies just click on any of the pictures below and you will be redirected to my online store.
