Is it just me or did the year fly by for you too? Wow, l’m sure your calendar is full with family and fun activities in December so I’ll try to keep this blog post short but know that on Wednesday, Dec 5 I’ll have a ton of information to share with you as well as some Christmas card inspiration. Today’s Make-it-Monday project falls under the “Anything But a Card” category.
Remember that your stamps,thin-lits, frame-lits dies and inks can be used to make decorations for your home as well as gifts and not just greeting cards. I created my Christmas sampler with very little stamping and used several dies from the current annual catalog and the Holiday catalog. I’m also entering my Christmas Sampler in the TGIF Challenge this week. What a coincidence, it’s an “Anything but a Card Challenge.” You can click on the image and read more about it :
While my product supply list may seem extensive I encourage you to use what you have. Scroll down past the video for a list of items I used.
Here’s What’s Happening in December:
Dec 5 – Year End Closeouts begin. This means that Stampin Up will mark down prices on retiring products and overstock items. This is a great time to save on items on your Wish List. So make sure you read my website for the marked down items.
Dec 5 – Holiday Catalog Retiring List. Stampin Up will announce the products from the Holiday Catalog that will carry over into the new 2019 catalog and those that will only be available “until supplies last.” From experience, these will sell out fast. So don’t delay in placing your order.
All BUNDLES will retire – this confuses some people. Basically, it means the Bundles that will carry over into 2019’s new catalog will not be at a 10% discount. In short, those bundles carry over but not at a bundled 10% discount.
Dec 5 – The Stamparatus Bag becomes AVAILABLE! This bag and accessories are awesome! The Stamparatus bag will it protect your Stamparatus and it keeps your Stamparatus Accessories organized. Here’s a video of the accessories in case you haven’t seen them:
Two options available:
- Order item 149695 for the Stamparatus Bag – $29 USA
- Order item 151961 and it INCLUDES the Stamparatus and the Stamparatus Bag – $78 USA
Now back to the items I used to make my Christmas Sampler. Please note that I did use a couple of retired products such as the gold foil bell which I could have used the new Christmas lights punch but I did not own at the time I created my sampler. Like I said previously, use what you have or order what you need.
If you wish to place an order on my online store please use this month’s HOST CODE FTCTKTT to receive a free gift with any $35 (before tax & shipping) order, if your order is $150 or more before sales tax and shipping don’t use the HOST CODE so you can receive your Host Rewards AND get your free gift from me!
Wow, that was a lot of information and it was not a short blog post as I promised. I’ll try to do better next time, but make sure you read my DEC 5, 2018 blog post for more information! Well, I hope you have a great December and that you make something on Make-it-Monday. Making is good for the soul!
