Today I’m sharing a video and close up of yesterday’s cards because one of my blog readers told me that she didn’t understand what I meant by “masking.” Masking is when you cover up an image or something to avoid getting ink on it. In this example the red bow is meant to represent a sheer organza bow and you can see the wreath branches though it.
In the following picture the wreath is not visible under the bow. I explain how I did this in the video located further down in this blog post.

Am I the only one who couldn’t tell that bow was a stamp and not really ribbon?
It’s very realistic looking. I love the DistINKtive stamps, so much color depth and variation with just one inking of the stamp.
