Halloween Card

Halloween Card

Today’s card is made up of bits and parts of several sets I own.  I was feeling kinda bummed that I did not buy the Spooky Bats Punch (item #148014) featured in the new holiday catalog, it’s on page 51.  Fact is, I only send out a couple of Halloween cards.  BUT, amazingly when looking through the annual catalog and through my stamp sets and dies I discovered that I had enough “stuff” to make a Halloween  card – so it’s a little of this, a little of that, some scrap pieces of cardstock and viola- a Halloween card!

This easy Halloween card is so quick and cute, I hope you like it.  To add any of the products that I used on my card, just click on a picture of the product to go to my Online Store.  Your orders are appreciated!  When you order, watch your mailbox next month for happy mail from me!

How to DIY:

  • I used a Stampin Up Basic Black marker to just ink up the Labels to Love stamp.  Using markers is an easy way to just ink up parts of a stamp – it’s selective stamping.
  • I used a sponge to add some white craft ink randomly on the card to create some clouds in the night sky.  I used a light touch as I didn’t want start white clouds.
  • I also used a sponge to add some Crushed Curry to.the Crushed Curry circle to create a spooky moon in the sky.

So what do you think of my frugal Halloween card?  It’s frugal because I used stamps and dies I already owned and didn’t have to purchase anything to make this card.
