Have you ever had a stamp set bundle so full of creative possibilities that you don’t know where to begin? The Abstract Impressions from the Garden Impressions Suite did just that to me. My solution, CASE the catalog. In case you don’t know CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything. I started with the card pictured on page 128 in the catalog. I was drawn to the different card design. It was fun using my newly redesigned ink pads and ink colors. The new color revamp is amazing. So many pretty colors on my card.
The Abstract Impressions bundle has beautiful floral images but it also has some lovely sentiments and the coordinating framelits surprising do not cut out any of the images from the stamp set but they both work together beautifully. Each element of this bundle could easily stand alone but you’ll want to own both and save 10% buy purchasing the bundle.
DIY TIPS, TRICKS & REMINDERS:
The Abstract Impressions stamp set makes 2 step stamping very easy to do. I first inked up the rose image with the thickest lines with Flirty Flamingo and stamped off on scratch paper before stamping on my Whisper White cardstock. This results in a lighter color of the image. I then used the 2nd rose outline stamp and inked it with Flirty Flamingo and then stamped over the lighter rose. You get an immediate wow! I did the same for the smaller flowers and the leaves. This was a fun start with this set and it led me to create 3 other projects using the Abstract Impressions bundle. I can’t wait to share those with you!
