The last couple of months I’ve been featuring products from the Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration but today’s card uses products from the big Annual Catalog. I get so excited with new catalogs and then I neglect the other stamps in my studio. Today’s card is one I received from a good friend of mine. It’s so nice to receive unexpected happy mail. I challenge you to make a card and then mail it to someone. I promise you – you WILL bring a smile to their face. You can have a positive affect on someone for the simple price of a postage stamp. Here’s my quick and cute card:

I love that the sentiment is the focus of the card design. Thanks for the beautiful card and the inspiration Kathleen!
As you can see, you don’t need a huge stash of supplies to make this card. Here’s what I used:
Whisper White Cardstock card base: 8.5″ X 5.5″, score at 4.25″
Cut a piece of Petal Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) or any DSP: 5.25″ X 3″.
Take the DSP and cut it lengthwise so that one piece is 1.75″ (this can vary depending on the size of your sentiment.) On my card I had one piece of DSP at 1.75″ and the bottom piece was 1.25″.
Stamp your sentiment and I added some Glittered Enamel Dots to help balance the card. That’s it! Quick & Cute!
