Hi paper artisits!
Just wanted to share a birthday card I made with the soon to be retired Christmas Quilt Bundle. Like I mentioned on Friday this bundle along with the beautiful coordinating Quilted Christmas designer series paper (aka patterned paper) will retire on Jan 2, 2018 if not sooner due to demand. I LOVE this bundle and paper. My Mom used to quilt and still loves to sew and I have several friends who are also quilters or who love to sew. So, I’m ordering another package of designer series paper to have on hand.
I tried to simulate a quilt hanging on a clothes line. I think I should have added a bit of bakers twine to add to the illusion. Do you sometimes make a card and then after a day you start to reconstruct it in your mind? I do it all the time.
If you like the Christmas Quilt bundle I strongly suggest you get it now before you have to pay high prices for it on E-bay. That’s what happens once popular stamps or dies are retired someone will sell them to the highest bidder at 3-5 times the original price.
Here’s what I used to make this card:

Did you notice the Powder Pink Bitty bow in the center of the quilt? Those bows come in a package with the 2017-2019 In Colors. They’re so cute!
Well friends, I made lots of other cards using the Christmas Quilt bundle but I don’t think I’ll have time to post them all before they retire.
Please don’t forget to use the host code below to receive a free gift from me in January.
Merry Christmas and stay safe my friends!
