Bella & Friends & Teeny Tiny Wishes Get Well Card

I just love the Bella & Friends stamp set.  All the images on this stamp set can be used for just about any occasion in your card making.  I also used an often overlooked stamp set in the Annual Catalog – the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  The Teeny Tiny Wishes set contains just about every sentiment you need to make cards.  I used the Get Well stamp for this card and then used the Classic Label punch to punch out the sentiment strip.  I love my Stampin Up! punches, don’t you?  But, you don’t need an official occasion to make and send a card. Make a card, slap a stamp on that envelope (make sure you stamp that envelope too) and mail it.  It’s like sending happiness in the mail.  Just imagine the smile on that special someone’s face when they receive a card you made for them.

I had so much fun creating this card for my cousin.  I know she loves her dog, Jethro and even though the Bella dog stamp does not look like her dog I’m sure she will love it just the same.  I used the FABULOUS stamping up watercolors to add color to Bella and blended with a Wink of Stella pen to add some subtle bling to her and then used a round stitched framelit to cut her out.  I love the stitched lines on the Stitched Framelit dies!

UPDATES:  The Stitched Framelits will be back in stock on January 16!  That’s today!  These were an immediate hit with crafters because these are a MUST HAVE in your craft stash.  This set comes with 16 dies in nesting shapes to include circles, ovals and squares and the best part – these dies create a stitched detail all in one pass through your Big Shot!   Click on the link below to read about them and to order your own set.

DIY TIP:  Do you sometimes find that you need a particular color of pearl or rhinestone but you only have clear or white ones?  Well, you can color those pearls and rhinestones with Sharpie pens to create your own custom pearls or rhinestones. Just make sure you color them while they are still on the the carrier sheet before you add them to your project.  You wouldn’t want an oopsy on your finished card.   I used a light green Sharpie to color my small rhinestones and then added them to the sentiment strip.
